A set of Web page elements with which you interasct to submit a request or provode information are called forms.

Forms are important beacuse they are used for submitting credict card and shipping information for online purchase, completinfg surveys, and for requesting information.

Web forms allow you to enter information in several different ways, including predefine choices from wich you can select as well as text entry areas.
